Customer service means serving customers!

The Spring Festival has quietly passed, and merchants, logistics providers, and enterprises have gradually returned to work, devoting themselves to the endeavors of the new year. During the Spring Festival holiday, e-commerce merchants did not rest either; they stayed on the front line, keeping their phones ready to take orders at all times. Compared with physical stores, e-commerce was greatly restricted by logistics during the festival and could not perform effectively, so orders were few and far between. Although staying online on AliWangWang seemed simple, sticking to this duty amid the busy and complicated holiday can only be described in one sentence: "Love what you do."

Coincidentally, I did some online shopping myself during the Spring Festival. As I browsed the products, I couldn’t help but consult customer service about some details. Honestly, I didn’t expect a quick reply, or even any reply at all during the holiday. Yet to my surprise, the responses were almost instant. This shopping experience left me with a very positive impression. Therefore, even though delivery would be delayed due to the logistics suspension, I still decided to place the order immediately. The biggest takeaway from this experience is that e-commerce cannot succeed without quality service. Customers generally do not care about the challenges or difficulties you face; experience and results matter more. Under equal conditions, any advantage over competitors is a significant strength, and service is the most subjective factor. If 99 out of 100 people praise a service as good or decent, it has passed the test and will gain wider recognition and acceptance.

Everyone has had a tough time during the holiday. The harder you work, the luckier you get. When other customer service representatives slack off, those who stay dedicated, maintain professional standards and a warm attitude, and consistently stick to their posts make a huge difference. Though it is just routine service, it can leave vastly different impressions on customers at special times. People instinctively seek benefits and avoid harm, so they naturally choose options that bring them greater advantages, whether material or emotional. Whether customer service can enhance value and elevate the experience subtly influences customers’ decisions. Like sales assistants in physical stores, customer service representatives can interact and sense emotions through the screen.

Now that the holidays are coming to an end, the backlog of orders will be shipped out one after another. During the Spring Festival, people were focused on visiting relatives and friends, so orders were hard to come by. However, with the new year kicking off after the holiday, we wish for a prosperous start, putting service first and embracing a new look for a booming Year of the Pig. Most importantly, the 328 Merchant Festival had already caught merchants’ attention before the Spring Festival and will kick off as the first major event of the new year.
