From Hebei News Network: At present, Hebei Changli Auto Parts Co., Ltd., a leading remanufacturing enterprise in Hejian, is working overtime to boost production. Since partnering with UK-based Lucas Group on the auto parts remanufacturing project, the company’s production capacity and sales volume have kept growing.

Located in the Hejian China-UK Industrial Park for Green Manufacturing and Remanufacturing, Changli has built up nearly 20 years of technical expertise. It has established independent systems covering production processes, high-end R&D, and product inspection, gradually growing into Hejian’s largest remanufacturer of auto parts. The company remanufactures over 600 models of generators and starters that cover all major passenger vehicle brands at home and abroad. Its sales network spreads across large and medium-sized cities nationwide, with products exported to the United States, the Middle East, and other countries and regions.

Lucas Group ranks among the top three in Europe in terms of technology and strength in auto parts manufacturing and remanufacturing. In 2018, the two sides launched in-depth cooperation in the R&D, production, and sales of automotive electrical system parts. To date, the partnership between Changli and Lucas has developed more than 40 agents across China, with an increase of 20 million yuan in sales.

Hejian is the fourth “National Demonstration Base for Remanufacturing Industry” approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. It boasts China’s largest trading market for raw materials in the auto parts remanufacturing industry, accounting for 70% of the national transaction volume. The city is home to more than 300 enterprises with remanufacturing capabilities, over 50,000 employees, and an annual output value of nearly 10 billion yuan.

In 2018, Hejian successfully held the “China-UK Summit on Green Manufacturing and Remanufacturing Industry Development” with the United Kingdom, a world leader in remanufacturing. During the summit, the two sides reached a consensus on jointly establishing the China-UK Industrial Park for Green Manufacturing and Remanufacturing.

Covering an area of 200 mu, the industrial park is a key part of the national demonstration base. Centered on green manufacturing and remanufacturing, it mainly focuses on five high-end green remanufacturing sectors: auto parts remanufacturing, engineering machinery (including oil drilling and tunnel boring machines) remanufacturing, machine tool remanufacturing, office equipment remanufacturing, and communication equipment remanufacturing.

Through cooperation, the park aims to introduce advanced technologies and strong R&D capabilities from British green manufacturing and remanufacturing enterprises, while leveraging the substantial capital and vast market potential of domestic companies. Together, they will build high-standard green manufacturing and remanufacturing enterprises, and develop a world-renowned industrial park for green manufacturing and remanufacturing in China.
